Can I put plastic doggy bags inside your Buckets?
No, unfortunately we do not accept plastic doggy bags (even if they are biodegradable) or any kind of garbage (including toys, bones, large sticks or rocks, dead animals etc.) inside our Buckets. So if you happen to pickup doggy doo with plastic bags, we require that you dump the poop out of the bag and into our Bucket, and discard the bag separately. We only accept dog and cat waste inside our Buckets. (Please do not place bags inside your bucket - thank you for your cooperation)
How can I prevent Maggots from getting inside my Bucket?
Great question! When the weather turns warmer, flies will lay their eggs onto and inside fresh doggy doo. So the absolute best way to ensure that flies and maggots are not attracted to your Bucket is to make sure to pickup your dog's waste immediately after they defecate and place it inside your Bucket and close the lid immediately. Whenever maggots are present, it is because the dog waste has been left out in the yard and flies have had time to locate it and lay their eggs onto/inside the dog waste, and that's when/why you will notice maggots inside your Bucket. So, pickup the dog waste immediately after your dog does his/her business, place it inside the bucket and put the lid on, and keep your bucket stored in a shaded area of your yard so that it is not exposed to the sun, and this will prevent maggots from getting inside your Bucket.
My dog is friendly, can they be in the yard when you're performing the service?
We LOVE dogs! We consider the dogs our customers and their hoomans to be the account holders/bill payers. We love having friendly dogs in the yard with us! We simply ask that if you are not certain how your dog will react to our Wrangler to please keep them indoors on the days we visit. If your dog is fearful or reactive or downright protective or agressive please let us know in advance and we can call you to remind you to have your dog inside by the time we arrive.
If you have a guard dog or agressive/unsure dog we cannot render the service if dog(s) are present in the yard and it may result in a cancellation of service if your dog is regularly in the yard when we come by to render the service (sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation).

Why should my dog's waste be picked up frequently?
Dog waste is not only an annoying problem, it can also be hazardous to both your dog's and your health. Dog poop can contain many types of harmful parasites and diseases such as: hookworms, roundworms, tapeworms, heartworms, whipworms, Salmonella, E-coli, Giardia, and Canine Parvovirus to name a few. Some of these can be passed on to humans and cause a whole host of health problems including cramping, diarrhea, intestinal illness, and serious kidney disorders. When dog waste that is infected with roundworms, hookworms, and other parasites is left on the ground, eggs from these parasites can bury themselves in the ground and remain there for years. This makes it possible for your dog to become reinfested over and over again. Moreover, picking up your dog's waste frequently will reduce the chance that you or your dog will step in the turds and track it into your house or vehicle, and it helps to keep unpleasant odours to a minimum!
Do I get a discount for having a smaller dog?
No, we do not offer discounts for smaller dogs because its a lot harder to locate and scoop smaller dog poop than it is to locate the doggy doo from a larger dog.
